It was only recently that I blogged that I found it difficult to write short fiction. And it is true that keeping it short is a discipline that I lack. Ideas tend to expand and I have real trouble keeping to a word limit. However, it is something I am keen to improve at so I am going to use this page to showcase any short stories that I write.

The first story I have posted here is called Letters Home and I wrote it about three years ago. It is set in the trenches, in World War One. it is about two very different men and the friendship that develops between them.
